ThankMy Broadcast • Guest + IT handoff

Guest Ready Packet

A private guest link is all a guest needs. Prepare on the real show computer and network, save the final preflight when requested, and join 15 minutes early.

Three checkpoints

7–14 days before

Open the private link in current Google Chrome using the planned camera, microphone, headphones, and network.

1 business day before

Run the guest-page device and network checks. Save the final preflight receipt if the show requires one.

Show day

Use the same setup. Close Zoom, Teams, Meet, and other media apps. Join 15 minutes early and keep the Broadcast tab visible.

Guest checklist

  • Laptop or desktop with current Google Chrome
  • Wired Ethernet or strong, stable Wi-Fi
  • Headphones or earbuds to prevent echo
  • Camera at eye level; light in front of the guest
  • Camera and microphone permissions allowed
  • VPN off unless company policy requires it
  • Private guest link kept private and ready to reopen

Inside the guest page

  1. Continue as guest; no host account is needed.
  2. Allow camera and microphone access.
  3. Choose the exact camera, microphone, and headphones.
  4. Join Studio and wait for the producer.
  5. Run and save final preflight when shown.
  6. Use Recover Room Media if the connection stalls.

Fast recovery

No camera or microphone: close other meeting apps, allow Chrome permissions, and recheck access. No producer audio: choose and apply the intended headphones, then confirm the tab is not muted. Freeze or disconnect: return to the visible Broadcast tab, recover room media, or reopen the same private link.

Company-network requirements for IT

Web application and signaling

Allow outbound HTTPS/WSS on TCP 443 to thankmy.ai, including the /broadcast/ application path.

TURN relay

Allow outbound TURN to turn.thankmy.ai on TCP/TLS 443. Allow UDP 3478 when company policy permits it; TCP/TLS 443 is the compatibility path for restrictive networks.

Show media node

The guest-page preflight reports the exact media destination for that show. Permit the reported destination and rerun the final preflight from the real show network. Do not request or circulate relay credentials.

Privacy boundary

This packet intentionally contains no private guest link, account credential, password, token, cookie, stream key, ingest URL, or TURN credential. The producer sends the guest’s private link separately to the intended recipient.
